Terms of Service

1. Access and Use

1.1. Provision of Access. Tenurin is a campus recruitment and placement management platform that connects universities, students, and companies in one digital hiring ecosystem. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Tenurin grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service.

1.2. Content. You may provide inputs to the Service including student records, job listings, drive configurations, eligibility criteria, and other placement data ("Content"). You retain ownership of all Content you submit. By submitting Content, you grant Tenurin a limited license to process and display that Content solely to operate and deliver the Service to you.

1.3. Use Restrictions. You may not: (i) reverse engineer, disassemble, or decompile any part of the Service; (ii) reproduce, modify, or create derivative works of the Service; (iii) rent, lease, lend, or sell access to the Service; (iv) remove any proprietary notices; (v) use the Service to develop a competing product; (vi) probe, scan, or attempt to penetrate the Service's security; (vii) harvest or scrape data from the Service; (viii) use the Service in any manner that violates applicable laws or infringes third-party rights; or (ix) knowingly permit any third party to do any of the foregoing.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher, to create an account. Students under 18 may use the Service only through institutional accounts provisioned by their university. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that: (a) you meet the age requirements stated above; (b) you have not previously been suspended or removed from the Service; and (c) your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws.

3. Accounts and Registration

To access the Service, you must register for an account. Depending on your role, accounts may be provisioned by a university placement cell, a company administrator, or self-registered. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you will keep it current. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at support@tenurin.com.

4. University Responsibilities

Universities using the Service are responsible for: (a) the accuracy of student records and eligibility data they maintain; (b) compliance with their institution's data governance policies; (c) ensuring that recruitment drives and company collaborations are properly configured; and (d) communicating relevant placement rules and policies to students through the platform.

5. Company Responsibilities

Companies added as collaborators to job listings are responsible for: (a) providing accurate job descriptions and requirements; (b) managing applications in good faith and within agreed timelines; (c) not using student data obtained through the Service for purposes outside the specific recruitment drive; and (d) complying with all applicable employment and non-discrimination laws.

6. Student Responsibilities

Students using the Service are responsible for: (a) maintaining accurate and truthful profile information; (b) not misrepresenting academic credentials, skills, or experience; (c) complying with their institution's placement policies; and (d) engaging professionally with companies during the recruitment process.

7. Payment Terms

7.1. Paid Services. Certain features of the Service require payment. Fees are communicated before purchase and, unless otherwise stated, are in Indian Rupees (INR) and non-refundable except as required by law.

7.2. Subscriptions. The Service may include subscription plans with automatically recurring payments. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on each billing date.

7.3. Pricing Changes. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with reasonable advance notice. Continued use after a pricing change constitutes acceptance of the new fees.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. Service. Tenurin and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the Service, including all intellectual property rights. No implied licenses are granted under these Terms.

8.2. Your Content. You retain all ownership rights in Content you submit. Tenurin claims no ownership over student profiles, placement data, or job listings uploaded by users.

8.3. Feedback. If you provide suggestions or feedback about the Service, you grant Tenurin the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation.

9. Data Security and Privacy

We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect data processed through the Service. Student data is only shared with companies during active recruitment drives with institutional consent. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle personal data.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain or delete Content associated with your account in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable law.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TENURIN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TENURIN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ₹10,000, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation by contacting us at legal@tenurin.com.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will publish an updated version and effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
